Peninsula Aquafest Dragon Boat Cup - Saturday April 3, 2010

The AquaFest Dragon Boat Cup will be held on Saturday April 3 between 11.00am and 4.30pm in a one-day carnival of competitive Dragon Boat racing along a 200 metre course in Martha Cove Harbour for the prized AquaFest Cup. The 2010 event will also offer to new categories for Young Achievers, crews comprising teenagers and students and a Masters category for the over 50's.

 

Dragon boat racing is a great way to exercise, build team spirit and have fun. Get a team of workmates, school friends, club members, or even relatives, together and enter the Peninsula AquaFest Dragon Boat Cup.  All equipment is provided and training sessions, conducted by leading Dragon Boat trainers, are available prior to the event for first-time Dragon Boat teams or teams needing a refresher. Dragon Boat racing has taken off on the Mornington Peninsula and the success of the AquaFest Dragon Boat Cup has resuluted in Victoria's newest dragon boat club located at Safety Beach.
